Laurie Anderson
This piece was performed in the
sweltering heat of summer in Genoa,
Italy. Anderson wore ice skates imbedded
in blocks of ice. The piece ended when
the ice melted. Also this year (1972),
Anderson obtained an MFA in Sculpture
from Columbia University.
